EVOLUSA
Awakening the Portuguese Soul
Although British by birth I have lived almost my entire adult life abroad and for the last 15 years I have made my very happy home in Portugal. My love of the Portuguese inspired me to found an initiative called Evolusa which signifies “Evolve Lusitania” (“Lusitania” means “Land of the Light” and it is the name that the Romans gave to a region that was roughly two thirds of what is now Portugal). My vision for Evolusa began in 2012 when I had the idea to create some kind of vehicle to catalyse a cultural exploration into both the under appreciated innate strengths and spiritual qualities of the Portuguese, and to highlight the collective cultural patterns that inhibit the Portuguese from fulfilling their evolutionary destiny.
The vision took some time to come to fruition, but now I am delighted that Evolusa is being pioneered by an inspired collective of some of my Portuguese students.
